Just in case you've missed it, my name is Jess. I'm a writer.
Putting myself out there like this is somewhat new to me, but I'm excited to show you the worlds that exist inside my mind. Worlds where flawed and relatable characters work through the issues common to humankind and ultimately discover the redemptive power of love. If you want to know more about how I became a writer, there is a brief history on my About Me page. The gist of it is that I have always loved to write, and I have been told to pursue writing by different people throughout my life. I may have taken a detour and lost sight of my purpose and passion for a while, but the Lord faithfully brought me back to them, willing and ready to hit the ground running.
What I want to do is remove the smoke screen - I want to show you what it's like to be a writer. Through learning and growing into a truer version of myself in the last few years, I have found much peace in being authentic, and I plan to carry that over into my writing and author brand. What you see is what you get. I also want to make you fall in love with my characters, their homes, and their lives. I want to leave you wanting more from them.
I'm so excited to begin this journey with you, and I hope it's as entertaining for you as it is rewarding for me.
